Month #6 of the DEI series
As we bring the Leaders in ECE: DEI Collaborative sessions to an end, we will spend this session discussing everything we’ve learned and utilizing the action plans we’ve developed during each session. Participants will have opportunities to participate in facilitated discussions to further develop their plan of action to take back to their programs, classrooms, and communities. They will also discuss potential challenges, anticipated successes and predict supports needed for success. All participants will leave with designated goals and steps to take to begin or continue driving change towards more diverse, equitable, and inclusive early child care programs.
Objectives:
ECE Relation: Early care and education professionals are faced with supporting children and families in a world that is rapidly changing. This content has been developed with foundational information to support child care providers as they navigate the ever changing climate to create environments that support diversity, equity and inclusion in their programs and communities.
